Although we’re all stuck inside, I thought I’d put together some cute spring outfits to rock around the house or on grocery runs haha. I don’t know about you, but I was really sick of wearing the same sweatpants everyday. Although I am still wearing sweatpants or leggings for the most part, it still feels good to get dressed up every now and then.
A few months ago, I started seeing ads for Sheertex tights pop up on my social media accounts. It’s not often that an ad catches my eye, but I was intrigued by Sheertex’s claim that their tights were unrippable. Sheertex was nice enough to send me a couple pairs to actually give them a try and I’m here to say, their tights are truly phenomenal!
Since it’s officially winter, I thought I would make a list of winter fashion essentials to stay cute AND warm this winter season. Where I live, it’s typically between 30 to 50 degrees in the day and even colder at night or when it’s snowing!
Last week, my boyfriend and I took a trip down to San Diego to lay on the beach and hang out with my sister and brother-in-law. I’m so thankful that we had the opportunity to take a summer vacation and spend time with my family. I’m so happy with how these sets came out! It was wayyy easier to find pretty places to shoot in San Diego than Reno lol 😀
Around March, I had the idea of creating a desert theme for a period of time on my Instagram. I see so many beautiful tropical/beach pictures on Instagram that are impossible to recreate as I am living in the desert. I had so many ideas for this project and they came out completely different than I ever imagined.
At the start of this semester, I decided I was finally ready to start going to the gym. Last semester, I had kind of wanted to start going, but anxiety had truly held me back. My biggest excuse for not going was that I didn’t have time and I was too tired, but the main reason was anxiety. I was anxious about looking like a newbie at the gym and I had never really used any gym equipment before. Growing up, I did all the kid activities of swimming, dancing, gymnastics, etc. but I had never tried any gym equipment.
About two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I took a mini road trip exploring Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe. It was our spring break and we considered taking an actual vacation, but we decided to go explore areas so close to home. Even though I live about an hour from Donner Lake, I rarely ever visit the lake even though I’m so close! I also had never really driven up to Tahoe in the winter so visiting was a completely different experience in the winter than in the warm summer months.
