5 Cute Spring Outfits

Although we’re all stuck inside, I thought I’d put together some cute spring outfits to rock around the house or on grocery runs haha. I don’t know about you, but I was really sick of wearing the same sweatpants everyday. Although I am still wearing sweatpants or leggings for the most part, it still feels good to get dressed up every now and then.

White Pants Paired With Bright Colors

After closely examining my wardrobe, I realized that I was missing an essential item- white pants. White pants are a refreshing way to change up your clothing after rocking dark color palettes in the winter and create some cute spring outfits. These pants from Everlane are so comfortable and stylish! They are made primarily out of cotton so they are very breathable and perfect for spring. My top is from Glow Recipe merch haha! I love the cute little banana embroidered on the chest. During this dark and strange time, I’ve really been loving the color yellow. It’s such a happy shade! I decided to pair them with some mint colored shoes for a nice contrast.

Monochromatic Neutrals

Nothing looks chic like a good ole monochromatic outfit. It was by chance that these separate canvas colored pieces were exactly the same color! The square belt is included in these ASTR the Label pants and I love how it defines my waist. The belt is especially important since the pants have a loose fit and the sleeves of this Abercrombie and Fitch top are balloon shaped. Don’t be afraid to mix and match textures to add interest to a monochromatic outfit!

Sweater Paired With a Slit Skirt

I’ve been really into midi length skirts and dresses lately because they don’t have to be pulled down and adjusted like mini skirts do. This skirt from last year has a slit in the side to make the midi skirt a little more sexy and fun. I paired it with this cropped sage colored sweater to make sure you can still see my waist. Then I added a bright pop of color with these yellow heels.

Pastel Color Palette

Since my boyfriend’s patio area has some really nice cottage vibes, I wanted this outfit to look “garden-esque”. I was told this outfit looked Mamma Mia inspired and I don’t think I could’ve received a better compliment haha! This sweater is the same piece I was wearing in the previous outfit because it’s just so perfect for cooler spring weather. I paired it with my rib cage Levis because you really can’t go wrong when styling a crop top with high waisted jeans.

Mini Skirt With a Light Jacket

This look is for anyone living in places where spring just isn’t that warm! Yesterday, it was 50 degrees in Reno so it wasn’t exactly sun dress weather lol. I styled this mini skirt with a turtleneck, a jacket, and some nude tights for a little extra warmth. I was going for a cotton candy look with the pink jacket and the blue skirt. Overall, I really like how the whole look came out! I also wore this look with some Adidas Continental 80’s shoes because they are so comfortable and trendy!

Admittedly, I’ve mostly been wearing sweatpants and leggings during quarantine. As someone who expresses themselves through fashion and makeup, I’ve definitely felt “less me” when wearing sweatpants all the time. I just try to put on an outfit I feel good in every few days so I don’t forget how to dress up haha.

What have you been wearing during quarantine?

Thank you so much! I think that is my favorite outfit as well 🙂 I almost went with neutral shoes as well, but I thought I’d have a little fun with the yellow!

Pastel colors are my favorite! But I love all the looks you’re sharing here.
My favorite may be the yellow sweatshirt with the white pants. Such a pretty mix of colors.

Thank you Margot! The yellow sweatshirt was something so out of my comfort zone because I don’t usually wear yellow, but now I’m so obsessed with it! I especially love the little banana on the chest.

I love that yellow jumper! Such happy vibes and the blouse from the monochromatic look.
That jean mini skirt is soo me. When I tell you that I will be buried in a mini skirt, I tell no lies.
My problem is that I plan all these outfits during the summer and wear the same uniform the whole time.
    Love this post!
    Happy vibes!

Thank you so much Omaye! I think the monochromatic look is my favorite. Omg I have mixed feelings about mini skirts! I like how they look, but I find it annoying when they have to be adjusted a lot. And I definitely feel you on the uniform thing! The only time I really wear cute outfits is for my blog, the rest of the time, I wear sweats or shorts, especially now lol

I have been wearing pretty much lounge wear lol. I can totally understand about not feeling yourself. I love wearing jeans and just don’t want to wear them just to get milk and bread haha. I love your outfits here especially 1 and 3. Your photos and backdrop are gorgeous, as is your make up. I hope you are doing well : ) xo

Thank you so much Natoya! You are so kind <3 I definitely feel most comfortable wearing sweatpants and leggings at home, but at this point, I've gotten sick of it. I miss getting dressed up to go out! As someone who expresses themselves through makeup and fashion, sweatpants don't feel exciting anymore haha
