Beauty Lover’s 2021 Gift Guide

Beauty lover's 2021 gift guide

It’s time for the beauty lover’s 2021 gift guide! I love doing a gift guide this time of the year with my favorites for any beauty lover on your Christmas list. I picked some skincare items that work for any skin type as well as my favorite makeup items. I hope this gift guide is helpful to anyone shopping for a picky beauty lover like myself lol!

Skincare

Krave matcha hemp cleanser

Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Cleanser

This gentle cleanser was so popular on Tiktok Krave Beauty sold out several times! I fell in love with this gentle cleanser because it was so hydrating for my dry skin. All skin types would benefit from this gentle cleanser. The best thing about this cleanser is it’s a concentrated formula meaning you only need a pea sized amount each wash. The tube lasts forever! This would be a wonderful gift for anyone on your Christmas list because everyone needs cleanser!

Banila Co. Clean It Zero

Banila Co. Cleansing Balm

The Banila Co. cleansing balm has a hold on me and I can truly say no other cleansing balm compares. I’ve been using the Banila Co. cleansing balm for five years now and it’s still my favorite step in my routine. This cleansing balm removes all my sunscreen and makeup (including waterproof mascara) without stripping or damaging my skin. Plus, the light sherbert scent is heavenly! According to Banila Co., one clean it zero balm sells worldwide every three seconds. This is a great gift for any K-beauty lover or person who wears makeup.

Sheet Masks

Whether you’re gifting someone who never uses masks or a sheet mask addict like myself, sheet masks are a wonderful gift to give someone to pamper themselves. Sheet masks are basically a facial in a packet! I love gifting basically everyone sheet masks and they make for such fun stocking stuffers.  These are some of my favorite masks: Beauty of Josean centella asiatica calming mask, any Dr. Jart mask, and the Pibuwang calming mask. I love getting sheet masks from Soko Glam, Innisfree, and Love, Jude

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is one of the most hyped and well known K-beauty products in the United States. This sleeping mask is so luxurious and hydrating for dry lips. My jar lasted me 8 months so I found it well worth the money. I never got cracks in my lips like I usually do in the winter while using this lip mask! Plus it comes in so many fun flavors such as berry, mint choco, etc. I gifted a jar to my mom for mothers day and she loves it too!

Makeup

Fenty Gloss Bomb

Aside from chapstick, I had never finished a lip product until I tried the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. I am about to repurchase my third tube because I cannot live without this gloss. The gloss bomb is so hydrating and juicy. It seriously looks good on everyone and gives the lips the most gorgeous plump, healthy appearance. I love how hydrating the formula is plus it isn’t sticky. It’s my belief that everyone needs Fenty Gloss Bomb. There’s lots of fun colors to choose from as well as variations of the formula (cream and heat). You honestly can’t go wrong with Fenty.

Huda mercury retrograde

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Palette

The Huda Beauty mercury retrograde palette is my favorite eyeshadow palette of the year. It has a range of stunning pastels and shimmers that are versatile for everyday or more glam looks. The shadows are extremely pigmented and easy to blend. I have been using this palette almost every time I do my eyeshadow because I’m so obsessed! Be sure to snag the palette while it’s still 50% off at Sephora to get the makeup junkie on your list the perfect gift.

Colourpop the child palette

Colourpop The Child Palette

I’ll be honest, I bought this palette purely because I’m obsessed with baby yoda and then I ended up loving the palette. The olive toned and brown shades are perfect for everyday. The palette is so flattering for brown or green eyes. Colourpop offers high quality pigments on a budget so this is a perfect affordable gift. The Child Palette was so popular it sold out so they brought it back for another year with the addition of another Mandalorian themed palette. I haven’t tried the Mandalorian palette, but Colourpop is selling both palettes for the price of one here

Value Sets

Is it just me or did value sets really pop off at Sephora this year? I seriously want to buy everything lol. The holidays are wonderful for beauty lovers like me because brands start coming out with their best sellers in value sets so you can get more for your buck. Here are some value sets that caught my eye:

Rare Beauty Blush Trio– I’ve heard such great things about these blushes

Laneige Lip Mask All Nighter Kit– such a deal

Burberry Her Perfume Set– this is one of my favorite perfumes. Smells like blackberry vanilla

YSL Black Opium and Libre Duo– I love black opium and I’m dying to try libre

Briogeo Scalp Soothing Solutions Set– the detox shampoo and scalp mask are life changing

I hope you enjoyed the beauty lover’s 2021 gift guide! Beauty lovers: What’s on your Christmas list?
