Peach and Lily Glass Skin Serum Review

Peach and Lily glass skin serum

The Peach and Lily glass skin serum is one of those products that is so hyped up on social media, I had to try it out for myself. The term “glass skin” describes skin that is ultra clear, poreless, and very dewy. I’ve heard great things about the Peach and Lily glass skin serum helping to clear up acne as well as acne scars which are two of my biggest skin concerns. Read on to find out if this serum is worth the hype!

Consistency

The Peach and Lily glass skin serum has a very light weight consistency. If you’ve ever tried the Hyaluronic Acid serum from The Ordinary, the texture is really similar. This serum is completely clear in color. My favorite thing about this serum is how well it absorbs into the skin without any stickiness or pilling. The pump dispenses a pea sized amount of serum so I like to use about 1 ½ pumps to cover my whole face and neck.

Scent

The Peach and Lily glass skin serum has no fragrance or scent at all. If you are sensitive to fragrance in skincare you won’t have any problems with this serum!

Highlighted Ingredients

Peach Extract– for radiance and firmness

Niacinamide– for inflammation, making pores appear smaller, and balancing oil production

East Asian Mountain Yam Extract– to plump skin and reduce flakiness

Madecassosidefor inflammation and collagen production

Hyaluronic Acid– to hydrate and plump the skin

Peptide Complex– to stimulate collagen production for youthful looking skin

Price

This Peach and Lily serum costs $39. Compared to Western Beauty products, this serum is on the cheaper side, but for K-beauty it is a little pricey. Honestly, I don’t think this serum is worth the $40 because I didn’t see the kind of dramatic results I heard about.

Results

When a serum promises glass skin, I was expecting more dramatic results. I have not been able to get rid of my acne and I have a lot of post acne marks that I was hoping would fade with this serum. I did notice that my pores looked smaller while I was using this serum, but again it was a very slight change. The serum didn’t irritate my skin and it was hydrating, but I will not be repurchasing because I didn’t notice a difference. Not worth the hype!

Have you ever heard of the Peach and Lily glass skin serum? Any good serum recommendations for fading post acne marks?

See Hyaluronic Acid and goes to check it out immediately. I think I’m borderline obsessed with it. I stared to get into k-beauty. The skincare is AMAZING. It’s fresh and innovative plus I’ve also seen lot of western brands copy their products and introduce them as new inventions in the western world. Strange.
    Great review as always!

Hyaluronic acid is such an amazing skincare ingredient! So great for all skin types. Isn’t k beauty amazing?! I love how affordable AND affective the products are. I really just want that beautiful glass skin look, but I wasn’t able to get it with this serum unfortunately…

It’s a shame that it doesn’t live up to it’s promises and you don’t notice a lot of difference with it 🙁 Thanks for sharing your honest review!

Hope you are having a nice week 🙂

    • Jill Gilbert | 15th Jun 20

Thanks Mica! I thought I would notice a more dramatic difference in my skin when I started using the serum. Oh well, my hunt for glass skin continues haha.

I’ve heard some hype about this brand! Good that it hydrates a lot, but sad that it doesn’t give you the glass skin you wanted.

I’ve been using Japanese and Korean skincare lately, perhaps I will share it on the blog later.

    Stay well Jill

Asian beauty products are so amazing! I can’t wait to hear what you’ve been using. I would love to try more products from Peach and Lily in the future, but I wasn’t super impressed with this serum…

This is my first time to hear about it. I’m a big fan of korean skin care products and I’m currently using Snail Truecica Serum. 🙂

K-beauty is amazing! That serum sounds really interesting. Snail mucin is such a cool and powerful hydrating ingredient. I will have to give it a try!

That sucks about that. I’ve literally tried so many products that are suppose to fade post acne marks and non of them work. But what is working is my friend’s shea butter she makes. I just sent her 2 pictures yesterday, a before and a 1 week, and she could not believe the difference.

Post acne marks are so stubborn and hard to fade! Acne is bad enough, but it’s so annoying to have to live with their shadow for so long. Shea butter?! That sounds so interesting! Do you use it on your whole face or just spot treat?

This is the first time I am hearing of this brand, I normally use Shiseido products. Glad to hear that it was hydrating.

Oooooo Shiseido products are so nice! I use their anti wrinkle eye cream and I love it. I’ve heard such great things about their other skincare products as well as their foundation. I’d like to try more from Peach and Lily, but this serum wasn’t as impressive as I’d hoped.

Ooh I really like the sound of this! I like their minimal branding, it’s so cute xo

I wish I had seen more results, but overall, it’s not a bad serum. Their packaging is super cute!

  9. Margot | 14th Jun 20

Oh this packaging was so cute. Too bad it didn’t help. It’s so frustrating when you see no difference when using a product.
I use the Clinique acne solution and with this product I got no more breakouts.

The packaging is super cute! I love the pink and white look. It’s girly without being too much. It really is frustrating! I feel like I’ve tried so many things to stop the acne and fade my post acne marks, but nothing seems to get rid of either. I’ve tried the Clinique acne solution, but my skin was too sensitive for it unfortunately :/

Oooh! I haven’t heard of Peach and Lily before – but I am all about the glass skin look! I hate having pores show even after having makeup on. It is great that you don’t need much to cover your face. Love that they even have peach extract in it! The price is not bad as well, for a serum. Though it is a bummer that the serum wasn’t worth the complete hype. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I want glass skin so bad! Hopefully, I find a routine that helps me achieve that look someday. Luckily I have tight pores, but lots of acne scarring that I want to get rid. I’ve never seen peach extract in a skin care product before, but it’s interesting for sure.

I am glad that it has a light consistency. I have tried serums before that felt so heavy and greasy. This one sounds just perfect and I love your recordation and review 🙂 http://www.bauchlefashion.com/2020/06/accessories-forecast-diamond-necklaces.html

    • Jill Gilbert | 16th Jun 20

The light weight consistency was quite nice! I hate sticky serums. I just wish I had seen more results with this product though.

  12. Didier | 15th Jun 20

Quick question! How long did you try the serum for? Just wondering in terms of effectiveness. I do love the packaging mind you although I am a bit disappointed that it doesn’t have a smell. I thought it would smell peachy!

I’ve been using it for the past two months without seeing much difference. It’s done a good job hydrating my skin, but I really hoped to see more progress with the acne scarring. A peachy smell would be so nice since their whole brand is about peach products.

  13. SundayDahlias | 15th Jun 20

I remember the hype around this brand but I never actually ended up trying it. Especially at that price point, when there are so many more cheaper alternatives in K-beauty!

    • Jill Gilbert | 16th Jun 20

That is so true! I would love to try more products from Peach and Lily since they have a quite a few products available. For a k beauty serum, I was hoping to see more results at a high price point for k beauty standards, but that wasn’t the case unfortunately…
