Goodal Vitamin C Serum Review

Goodal Vitamin C Serum

The Goodal Vitamin C serum has earned the title of one of the most popular vitamin C serums in South Korea. Naturally, I was dying to give this a try. I’ve had difficulties finding a vitamin C serum that doesn’t irritate my dry skin in the past so I had high hopes for the Goodal serum since it claims to be gentle. Let’s get into my thoughts on the Goodal Vitamin C serum!

Consistency

The Goodal Vitamin C serum has a juicy gel consistency that doesn’t feel sticky on the skin. I love using one pump in the morning to fade my post acne scars and protect my skin from pollution damage. One of my favorite things about this serum is that it contains green tea extract and centella asiatica to calm and hydrate the skin. As someone with dry and slightly sensitive skin, I really appreciate Goodal for adding these ingredients to soothe and hydrate my skin!

Scent

This vitamin C serum has a lightweight citrus scent that I find quite lovely and refreshing. It is not remotely overpowering whatsoever and the scent is undetectable after application. I think it would be safe for those sensitive to fragrance, but you could try one of Goodal’s vitamin C green tangerine sheet masks before purchasing the serum to see if you find it overpowering.

Highlighted Ingredients

Vitamin C from Green Tangerine– The hero of this serum is green tangerine extract which is 10 times more potent than regular tangerine. This serum contains 70% green tangerine extract making it an extremely potent formula! Vitamin C is famous for its ability to fade hyperpigmentation like sun spots and post acne scars. It is also rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from pollution damage.

Price

Okay, are you ready for this?! The Goodal Vitamin C serum retails for only $20 for 1 oz at Soko Glam. I mean, sheesh! Amazing formulas that are affordable are hard to come by. The last vitamin C serum I enjoyed was the Estee Lauder perfectionist serum which retailed for $78 for 1 oz. I consider the Goodal serum a major steal and I enjoyed it more than the Estee Lauder one.

Packaging

The Goodal serum comes in an airtight pump that dispenses the perfect amount of product. Vitamin C is notoriously fragile so I love that this pump is airtight (as opposed to a dropper) to keep the product fresh and stable. I took this serum traveling with me and I didn’t have any issues with leakage!

Results

Overall, I love the Goodal vitamin C serum! I was impressed at its ability to fade my acne scars without irritating my skin or breaking me out like many other vitamin C serums do. I had a really stubborn acne scar that faded nicely while I was using this serum. I love that it’s both gentle and effective. I enjoyed this serum so much I bought Goodal’s vitamin C sheet masks that are formulated with this serum if I need a nighttime brightening boost. This serum is a 10/10 from me!

This serum sounds fantastic! I also have dry/sensitive skin, so I have to be careful about products drying out my skin. I love that the scent wasn’t overpowering, and that it was soothing for your skin. Also, it’s a bonus that it dispenses the right amount of product!

Wishing you a wonderful week, friend!
