I was dying to try the Cosrx cica intense cream after having a great experience with the Cosrx cica cream. The cica cream was wonderful, but not quite hydrating enough for my dry skin. The cica intense cream is a more hydrating version of OG cica cream. Let’s get into my thoughts on the Cosrx cica intense cream!

Consistency 

The Cosrx Cica intense cream has a thick consistency that nourishes my dry skin upon application. I love that it’s thick and hydrating without feeling greasy or clogging. Every day, I use this cream in the morning under sunscreen and at night under Vaseline. I started using this cream at the end of winter and here I am on my second tube in early summer. It’s been the perfect moisturizer through all the seasons! This is truly such a holy grail cream for my dry skin.

Scent 

The Cica intense cream has no detectable scent or fragrance added. This is a great cream for those sensitive to fragrance! 

Highlighted Ingredient 

Centella asiatica (cica)- soothes redness and irritation. This ingredient is extremely popular in Korean skincare because it soothes sensitive skin and it prevents acne as well! 

How does it perform under makeup? 

When it comes to makeup, I like my complexion to look glowy and natural. I usually wear the Fenty eaze drop skin tint or the It Cosmetics your skin but better foundation if I’m wearing makeup. The Cosrx cica intense cream works wonderfully under makeup without any pilling. This cream is the perfect skin prep for makeup.

Price

The cica intense cream retails for $32 for 1.7 oz on Cosrx’s website. My moisturizer budget is between $30-50 so this one fits right in! Affordable rich moisturizers are hard to come by which is one of the many reasons why I am just so impressed with this cream. 

Packaging 

The Cosrx cica intense cream comes in an easy to squeeze tube. I didn’t have any issues with the tube leaking or the cap coming off. I even took it on a road trip without any issues. No complaints here!

Results 

Overall, the Cosrx cica intense cream earns the title of my favorite moisturizer ever. I don’t give this title out lightly! My skin has been so soft and hydrated since I started using this cream. I deem this cream my favorite because it’s so high quality AND affordable. I’m currently about to finish up my second tube and I will absolutely continue to repurchase in the future!
