In honor of celebrating our 3 year anniversary, I’m sharing some couples photos Wren Brady Photography did for my boyfriend and me a few weeks ago. These photos were taken at Moon Rocks, Nevada. Moon Rocks is a hot spot for BMX bikers to ride around the hills an hour or so outside of Reno. Lucky for us, the rocks are so picturesque and made the perfect photoshoot location!

Shooting Couples Photos

My boyfriend, Cullen, takes all of my pictures (aside from product shots) for my blog and Instagram. I am so lucky that Cullen is willing to take all of these pictures for me and support me on this creative journey. Since he is usually behind the camera, it was so fun for him to be in front of the camera with me. We had such a great experience shooting with Wren Brady Photography. She was so fun to work with and I love how the pictures came out!

Us

Cullen and I have known each other for 8 years! We met in middle school, but we weren’t friends then. He was the prankster and I enjoyed sitting in my teacher’s classrooms during lunchtime doing homework so we didn’t exactly have a lot in common at the time. We finally started dating our senior year of high school and now we’ve been together for three years! I feel so grateful to have such a great partner in my life to be by my side through starting college, losing my grandmother, and of course, this pandemic.

Celebrating in 2020

This year has certainly been a dark year and it’s showed me how important it is to celebrate the little things in life. Of course we can’t have big gatherings like we used to to celebrate birthdays and whatnot, but 2020 has shown us that we truly have to be grateful for everyday. To celebrate, Cullen and I decided to take a trip down to the bay area where we could safely enjoy the cold beaches. Celebrating our 3 year anniversary by getting out of town was a fun way to relax especially since we haven’t traveled just the two of us since we went to San Diego in June 2019. I’ll be sharing photos from our trip to Point Reyes soon!
