It’s been quite awhile since I’ve checked in here on the blog because I have an exciting announcement! I graduated from college! After four years of grueling school, I completed my degree in journalism with a minor in ethnic studies. I am truly so thrilled to make this announcement as I know there are quite a few of you who have followed my journey through school on my blog.

I started my blog my sophomore year of college as an outlet to express my love of beauty as well as a little bit of my journey through life. While I primarily post about beauty, I do love sharing bits of my life with you. 

College wasn’t easy for me. Between the passing of my grandparents and my childhood cat of sixteen years on top of surviving a global pandemic, completing my degree will always be one of my greatest accomplishments.

I’m currently navigating post-graduate life and trying to build my business I’ve been building for the past year. I started my own social media and brand consultant company, Cecilia Creative Co., and I’m truly hoping that I’ll be able to be successful through that outlet as a freelancer providing services to small businesses in my local community. While online classes did suck, I did discover I love working from home and serving small business owners who are passionate about what they do.

I’ve lived my life so rigidly for the past four years, but now, I’m trying to build a life I enjoy living. I started lap swimming once a week and my boyfriend, Cullen, and I try to go hiking at least once a week to explore the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains we call home. 

I just wanted to share this exciting announcement with you because I’m truly so proud and I look forward to spending more time on the blog again! I promise weekly beauty reviews will be back 🙂
