Consistency

The JUNOCO cleansing balm has a lightweight balm consistency that melts easily in the hands. The texture has the most lightweight feeling to it out of all the cleansing balms I’ve ever tried; it almost feels like a liquid cleansing oil. Upon application to dry skin, the cleansing balm easily breaks down my makeup and sunscreen in the first step of my double cleansing routine. It does a great job of melting away mascara without pulling or tugging at my lashes or irritating my eyes in any way. This cleansing balm emulsifies soooo easily with water making it easy to wash off!

Scent

This cleansing balm has a heavenly lemon scent that reminds me of a freshly baked lemon bar. It smells so yummy, I could almost eat it lol. I don’t find the scent overpowering in any way and the fragrance washes away with water so I believe it would be safe for those sensitive to fragrance. The cleansing balm is naturally scented with orange peel oil.

The clean 10 cleansing balm retails for $15 for 3 ounces ($5/oz) on JUNOCO’s website. While this isn’t the cheapest per ounce cleansing balm I’ve tried, this cleansing balm is very affordable! I always keep my cleansing balm budget below $30 so this one fits right in. 

Packaging

This cleansing balm comes in a lightweight, compact jar. I took this cleansing balm with me on a road trip about a month ago and I didn’t experience any issues with leakage, melting, or the jar coming open. The best thing about the jar is that it’s 100% recyclable. JUNOCO really nailed this packaging!

Results

Overall, I absolutely loved the JUNOCO cleansing balm! I have no complaints. It dissolves makeup and sunscreen easily without stripping or drying my skin. Plus, I absolutely adore the yummy lemon fragrance. My boyfriend is obsessed with lemons (he’s into gardening) and he also enjoyed the scent haha! As someone who is extremely picky about cleansing balms, I am happy to say, this cleansing balm passed my test!
