After trying out the IGK First Class Dry Shampoo, I knew I wanted to try more from the brand because I was so impressed with the amazing quality. I started using IGK Hot Girls Shampoo and Conditioner duo about a month ago and now I’m ready to share my thoughts.

As a girl with dry hair living in the desert, hydrating hair care products are always a must for me. I chose the IGK Hot Girls shampoo and conditioner because it is IGK’s hydrating editions of shampoo and conditioner. It took me a little while to adjust to this formula after using the Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind shampoo and conditioner, but now I really like it!

The shampoo has a very concentrated formula that always makes my scalp very clean after washing without stripping my hair of moisture. I would recommend using the shampoo on really wet hair (without squeezing your hair out) so that the shampoo can get really foamy and move throughout your hair. 

The conditioner is not as thick as I thought it would be for hydrating conditioner, but it certainly gets the job done. Even though the conditioner isn’t as thick as the Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind conditioner, my hair feels very hydrated.

My favorite thing about this shampoo and conditioner duo is the yummy scent. The scent of the IGK Hot Girls shampoo and conditioner is a very light coconut smell. As someone who has just warmed up to the coconut scent in the past few years, I really appreciate how light and natural aroma is.

I would highly recommend the IGK Hot Girls duo to anyone with dry hair who lacks volume. I never feel like my hair is dry after washing it AND my hair is not weighed down by the conditioner. I really appreciate this since I don’t have super thick hair. Another thing I can say about this duo is that my hair feels really STRONG after I use it which is such a major plus!

As far as packaging goes, I think it needs improvement. The conditioner is pretty thick and it would be much easier to use if I could store the bottle upside down. Since the cap is so small, the containers must remain upright. Getting the conditioner out of the bottle requires a lot of shaking to get the product out. 

Another thing I would like to see from IGK is more diverse women on their packaging. Most of their products feature designs for their products, but there are a couple products with women on the front and all of them are white! I would love to see more diversity because I think their products are really amazing and should be enjoyed by everyone, not just the white women on their packaging. 

Overall, I really like the IGK Hot Girls shampoo and conditioner. It’s very hydrating without weighing my hair down and it smells really nice! I would purchase this again.
