The Heimish biome repair cream caught my eye because I have extra dry skin and am always on the hunt for barrier repair creams. I was already a fan of their bestselling all clean cleansing balm and their cica sheet masks so I was super excited to try out their biome repair cream.
The Heimish biome repair cream has a majestically rich texture my dry skin absolutely adores. I struggle finding creams hydrating enough for my dry skin which is extra dry due to the desert climate I live in. This cream truly impressed me with its extremely hydrating and nourishing formula.
Because this cream is so rich, I would only recommend it to those with dry or mature skin. It doesn’t feel greasy on my skin, but it is just too rich for other skin types. I just know I’ll be revisiting this cream during the harsh winter months! It’s a bit too rich for the summer months with sweating so this will be a seasonal cream for me to enjoy.
The Heimish repair cream has a barely detectable green tea scent that I hardly noticed. Because this cream doesn’t really have a smell, it is friendly for those sensitive to fragrances.
Matcha Water– matcha is rich with antioxidants and prebiotics that nourish and support skin barrier health. It’s no surprise matcha is so beneficial for the skin when it is wonderful for the body as well!
I thought this cream might be too rich to wear under makeup, but it actually performed quite well with no pilling under sunscreen. I enjoyed wearing this with a skin tint, but I would prefer a lightweight moisturizer if I was wearing makeup because this cream, sunscreen, and makeup is just a little too much on my skin for me. It all depends on your personal preferences and your skin’s dryness, but like I said, it doesn’t pill under makeup!
This Heimish cream retails for $28 for 1.69 ounces on Heimish’s website. This is such a steal! One of the reasons I have trouble finding rich creams for my dry skin is because rich creams tend to be quite expensive. For this phenomenal formula, this is truly an amazing price.
The repair cream comes in a simple green jar. I love that there’s no weird crevices in the jar making it easy to scrape out every last bit of product. I didn’t experience any issues with this jar, however, I wouldn’t travel with this. I prefer traveling with tubes like the Cosrx cica intense cream because they take up less space.
Overall, I was truly impressed with the Heimish matcha biome repair cream. I am very passionate (I know this sounds dramatic lol) about skin barrier health. Without a strong and healthy skin barrier, the skin is prone to painful dehydration and acne. My skin felt so nourished and healthy while using this cream. As I mentioned earlier, this cream will be returning to my routine in the winter months. To finish out my review, I am knighting this cream into my favorite moisturizers for dry skin! A great honor indeed.

Hey Jill, happy to visit your site again!
I love that your recommendations always include a range of products (different price, skin types, brands, ingredients, etc.)
This one sounds dreamy! Probably not the cream for me due to my skin type but the ingredients sounds delightful! And can we talk about that packaging? I love that many beauty brands are including these details to round up the experience *_*
Best!
Pablo
