I wanted to share some fun pieces to transition your wardrobe to spring since the upcoming season is right around the corner! I have been itching for spring because I am so sick of cold grey skies. I feel like pandemic life is much easier in spring when we can spend more time outside instead of being locked up in the house. Any who, let’s get into some fun outfits to transition your wardrobe to spring:
Spring sweaters are literally my favorite part of the season! Wearing yellow is such a fun way to welcome the new season. I got this yellow sweater from Glow Recipe (yes, the skincare brand lol). They have really cute merch! This sweater has the most adorable little banana on it that makes me smile every time I see it. Spring sweaters will keep you cozy until warmer weather comes along in the late spring.
Since I personally live next to mountains in a colder climate, sometimes it isn’t warm enough to go without a jacket until April or May. I love wearing my pastel pink Abercrombie and Fitch coat (from last season) during the last few months of cold weather. I’ve literally seen it snow on Easter in Reno lol. Wearing colorful coats incorporates spring colors and keeps you warm!
Pastels look great on everyone so it’s fun to mix and match pastel tones by incorporating them into your accessories. I love this purple fanny pack from Dagne Dover. My sister got it for me for Christmas. I literally use it everyday! I’m obsessed with the fanny pack because it has lots of organizing slots inside like a card holder, chapstick holder (where I keep my Laneige glowy lip balm), and a key ring hook. Fanny packs are great for anybody on the go so you can run errands hands free.
While I don’t give a f*ck about the “no white after Labor Day” rule, wearing white pants just screams spring! White pants go with so many spring colors and I find they look especially fresh when paired with pastels. I love these white straight leg pants from Everlane. They’re very stretchy with big pockets!
Depending on how warm your climate is during the spring, you may want to opt for more breathable long sleeve clothes. Try fabrics like cotton, rayon, and linen for a lightweight fit. This is an XL vintage Yves Saint Laurent men’s shirt that I thrifted. To make it fit my 5’4” body, I twisted it and tucked it into my jeans. Wearing such an oversized shirt feels really comfortable and breathable for warmer weather.
What pieces do you like wearing to transition your wardrobe to spring?
It’s been a longggg time since I’ve done a favorite post so I…

I can’t believe Spring is already around the corner! Ooh, I love the inclusion of pastel pieces! I really need to get on that train haha. It is always nice to see white pants being rocked. Love yours! I found that not all tops need to be fitted tight. Some loose tops can be worn nicely too! I’m hoping to bring back rompers this season 🙂

I am so excited for spring! I feel like pandemic life is easier when we can spend more time outdoors instead of huddled up inside from the cold. I love pastel colors so much! I like that they look happy without being overpowering. White pants are always so clean and classy looking! I love a good romper, but sometimes I have trouble finding one that fits me because I have a short torso

Spring + pastel sweaters are my FAVE for spring time when it’s a bit cooler out.
Fall calls for some nice warm + earthy tones!

I love pastel everything! After the darker colours of winter, it’s just nice to see some lighter shades around. One thing I’m missing is a colourful coat, but you are right to include this here because it’s a great way to bring more colour while staying warm on the cooler spring days. Loved this post! x

I love pastels too! It really is so refreshing to incorporate brighter colors into your wardrobe especially after the gloomy skies of winter. I love my pink coat in the spring because it snows here right up until summertime lol!
